HRH the Princess Royal arrived at the Town Hall Square on Sunday 29 September to inspect the ship’s company of HMS Albion.

HMS Albion has a long affiliation with the City since being granted the Freedom of the City of Chester in 2003.

Despite rain showers, the company of HMS Albion performed a spectacular march across through the streets of Chester.

Following the impressive parade, Her Royal Highness addressed the crowds from the Town Hall balcony.

Princess Anne then made her way inside the Town Hall to unveil a plaque celebrating 150 years of the Town Hall, before attending a special celebration event at Chester Cathedral hosted by the Commanding Officer of HMS Albion.
